Occupational health care is an essential part of the service offering that supports the well-being and occupational safety of agricultural entrepreneurs. YritysBotnia is one of the few service providers contracted by MTK (Central Union of Agricultural Producers and Forest Owners) under a framework agreement, offering comprehensive occupational health services to agricultural entrepreneurs and their employees.
Agricultural occupational health care is designed to support farmers in developing work well-being. It helps assess health risks and workload factors in the work and work environment and provides measures to manage them.
For example, farm visits are conducted every 1-4 years, depending on individual needs. Occupational health care also invites the agricultural entrepreneur for health check-ups at agreed intervals, usually every 1-3 years, considering the health risks associated with the work, the health status, and age of the agricultural entrepreneur.

A written agreement defining the content and terms of the service is made for the purchase of occupational health care services. Additionally, agricultural entrepreneurs receive a 20% discount on their MATA insurance premium if the agreement has been in effect in the preceding year as of October 1.
The reimbursement is automatically deducted from the invoice when the entrepreneur has given written permission to the occupational health care provider to apply for direct reimbursement from Kela.
