Short-term therapy in occupational health care
is an effective form of treatment that can increase mental well-being and
functional capacity, reduce mood symptoms, support the return to work and
prevent sickness absences. The duration of occupational health short-term
therapy is typically 10 appointments, and it is referred through the
occupational health physician. Short-term therapy is provided by occupational
psychologists and occupational health nurses who have received additional
training.
